ServiceTitan, Jobber or Housecall Pro: Which Fits a Small Trade Shop?

October 1, 2026 · The CONSTRUKTR Team · 4 min read

We make CONSTRUKTR, which competes with all three, so this article sticks to what each company publishes about itself, quotes it, and links to it. Where we give an opinion, we say so. Everything was read on October 1, 2026.

Prices you can see before a sales call

  • Jobber publishes every plan price, from Core at $49 a month to Plus at $499 [1].
  • Housecall Pro publishes every plan price, from Basic at $79 a month to Max at $329, and Max signs up through a "Book Demo" button [2].
  • ServiceTitan publishes none. Each package says "Request Pricing" [3], and its annual report says prices are "linked to the size of the customer's business, generally based on the number of field technicians" [4].

Contracts and cancelling

  • Jobber sells each plan three ways. Monthly with no commitment can be cancelled anytime. Monthly on a 1-year commitment keeps billing until the 12 months end. Paid annually, "your initial payment is non-refundable". All of them renew automatically unless set not to [1].
  • Housecall Pro says it "does not require long-term contracts" [2].
  • ServiceTitan says new customers mostly sign annual or multi-year agreements "typically ranging from 12 to 36 months", though some customers are month to month, that the contracts "are noncancelable", that nearly all renew automatically unless cancelled in advance, and that annual and multi-year contracts carry a minimum subscription fee [4].

Team size, and who counts as a user

  • Jobber: Core "supports one user" [5]. Connect and Grow are priced for 1 user, with bundles for 5, 10 and 15, and extra users are $29 a month each. Plus includes 5 [1]. A user is "anyone who accesses your account at the office or in the field to view or manage the team's schedule" [1].
  • Housecall Pro: Basic includes 1 user, Essentials 5 and Max 8, with $35 a month for each extra user on Max [2].
  • ServiceTitan: priced per technician [3]. Its demo form asks how many techs you have and whether you have "at least one full-time office employee" [3].

Trying it first

  • Jobber: 14 days on the Grow plan with no credit card [1]. Add-ons "are not available while in trial" [6].
  • Housecall Pro: 14 days on the Max plan with no credit card [2].
  • ServiceTitan: a free demo. The pricing page offers no trial [3].

Getting set up

  • Jobber lists onboarding by plan: 2 sessions of up to 2 hours on Connect, 3 sessions of up to 3 hours on Grow, and unlimited on Plus, with a data import service in the Plus column [1].
  • Housecall Pro gives Max a dedicated onboarding specialist [2], and its data import team works with Max customers, with a free basic transfer [7].
  • ServiceTitan's annual report says onboarding and training fees are generally invoiced separately, at the start of the contract or as ordered, and it does not publish the amount [4].

Accounting and other connections

  • CONSTRUKTR's QuickBooks connection is not available yet. For comparison, Jobber connects to QuickBooks Online from the Connect plan up [1], and Housecall Pro on Essentials or Max [8]. ServiceTitan lists QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct and Xero among others, none of which CONSTRUKTR has available yet [9].
  • Housecall Pro's open API and Zapier connection come with Max [2].

The crew's phones

All three have field apps. ServiceTitan's works on iPhone and Android [10]. Housecall Pro includes a free iPhone and Android app on every plan, in English and Spanish [2]. Jobber's app is available in Spanish to team members, but not to administrators or account owners [1].

Our read on who each fits

This part is opinion, built on the facts above.

  • ServiceTitan fits a shop with an office person and several technicians that wants a deep system and is comfortable getting its price through a sales conversation and signing a contract of a year or more.
  • Jobber fits an owner-operator, and a crew that grows into team bundles, who wants published prices and is careful about which billing term and add-ons it picks.
  • Housecall Pro fits a home service shop that wants published prices and no long-term contract. Most teams of 2 to 8 will land on Essentials or Max.

Whichever way you lean, count the logins you will need a year from now, price each option at that number, and run the trial on real jobs rather than the demo data.

Where CONSTRUKTR fits

CONSTRUKTR publishes its prices: Starter $49 a month for 2 users, Core $99 for 5, Pro $199 for 15 and Business $349 with no user limit, with no contract and a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card [11]. The office works on the web dashboard, on Pro and Business and in every trial, and the crew works on the CONSTRUKTR app for iPhone and Android. The iPhone and Android apps are launching on the App Store and Google Play, and the web dashboard works today. Starter and Core go on sale when the CONSTRUKTR app is in the App Store and Google Play. Until then, a trial continues on Pro or Business. QuickBooks is not available yet; it is on the way.
