Most pricing pages lead with one number. What you actually pay depends on how many people need a login, how you agree to be billed, which add-ons you need, what setup costs, and what it costs to take a card. Below are the prices each company published on October 1, 2026, read from its own pages, and the parts of the bill that are easy to miss. We make CONSTRUKTR, so our own prices are listed the same way, with the same caveats.
The published prices
Jobber [1]
- Core: $49 a month for 1 user with no commitment, $39 a month on a 1-year commitment, or $29 a month billed annually.
- Connect: $139, $119 or $99 a month on those three terms, for 1 user.
- Grow: $199, $169 or $149 a month, for 1 user.
- Plus: $499, $439 or $399 a month, with 5 users included and sign-up through sales.
- Extra users are $29 a month each, and the same page sells team bundles: Connect for 5 users is $199 a month with no commitment, and Grow for 10 users is $399.
- Jobber defines a user as "anyone who accesses your account at the office or in the field to view or manage the team's schedule."
Housecall Pro [3]
- Basic: $79 a month, or $59 a month billed yearly, with 1 user.
- Essentials: $189 a month, or $149 billed yearly, with 5 users.
- Max: $329 a month, or $299 billed yearly, with 8 users and $35 a month for each extra user.
- The page publishes no extra-user price for Basic or Essentials, and its prices exclude sales tax.
ServiceTitan [4]
- No prices are published. Every package says "Request Pricing", and the company describes its pricing as per technician.
ServiceM8 [6]
- Priced by new jobs a month rather than by user: $29 a month for 50 jobs, $79 for 150, $149 for 500 and $349 for 1,500 or more, plus a free plan for 30 jobs. Only the free plan limits users.
CONSTRUKTR [9]
- Starter is $49 a month for 2 users, Core $99 for 5, Pro $199 for 15 and Business $349 with no user limit. Annual billing is two months free.
- Starter and Core go on sale when the CONSTRUKTR app is in the App Store and Google Play. Until then, a trial continues on Pro or Business.
What a 3-person and a 10-person shop would pay
This is our arithmetic from the prices above: monthly, no commitment, counting everyone who needs a login.
3 people, an owner and two techs
- Jobber: Connect at $139 for 1 user plus 2 extra users at $29 each, $197 a month (the 5-user bundle is $199), or Grow the same way at $257.
- Housecall Pro: Basic covers 1 user and has no published extra-user price, so the next published fit is Essentials at $189 a month, or $149 billed yearly.
- ServiceM8: $29 to $149 a month, depending on how many new jobs you book.
- CONSTRUKTR: Core at $99 a month covers 5 people once it is on sale. The lowest plan on sale today is Pro, at $199.
- ServiceTitan: a quote.
10 people
- Jobber: the Connect 10-user bundle at $299 a month, or the Grow 10-user bundle at $399.
- Housecall Pro: Max at $329 for 8 users plus 2 extra users at $35 each, so $399 a month.
- CONSTRUKTR: Pro at $199 a month covers up to 15 people.
- ServiceTitan: a quote, priced per technician.
Which number is lowest today matters less than how each one moves when you hire. A per-user price rises with every login. A plan sized in bands, such as Jobber's team bundles, Housecall Pro's tiers or CONSTRUKTR's 2, 5, 15 and unlimited, stays flat until you cross into the next band. ServiceM8 moves with how much work you book, not how many people you employ.
The costs outside the monthly price
How you agree to be billed. Jobber sells the same plan on three terms. On the 1-year commitment you keep paying monthly until the 12 months are up even if you cancel, and if you pay a year up front, "your initial payment is non-refundable" [1]. Housecall Pro says it does not require long-term contracts [3]. ServiceTitan's annual report says new customers mostly sign annual or multi-year agreements "typically ranging from 12 to 36 months", though some customers are month to month, that the contracts "are noncancelable", that nearly all renew automatically unless cancelled in advance, and that annual and multi-year contracts carry a minimum subscription fee [5]. CONSTRUKTR has no contract, and a monthly plan cancels anytime [9]. Like Jobber's, a CONSTRUKTR annual plan is paid up front, and cancelling stops the renewal but does not refund the rest of the year [11].
What "save with annual billing" is really worth. Jobber's page says "Save up to 25%" [1], but its own numbers differ by plan: Core drops from $49 to $29 a month, about 41 percent, and Grow from $199 to $149, 25 percent. Housecall Pro's yearly price is about 25 percent below monthly on Basic and about 9 percent on Max [3]. CONSTRUKTR's two months free is about 17 percent. Work it out for the plan you would actually buy, not the headline.
Add-ons. Jobber lists add-ons including Marketing Suite at $99 a month, Receptionist at $29 a month and Pipeline at $49 a month [1], and its help center says add-ons "are not available while in trial" [2]. If the feature you are buying for is an add-on, the free trial will not show it to you.
Getting set up. ServiceTitan's annual report says onboarding and training fees are generally invoiced separately, at the start of the contract or as ordered, and it does not publish the amount [5]. Jobber shows a data import service valued at $499 in its Plus column [1]. Housecall Pro's data import team works with Max customers; its basic transfer is free, and "there may be an additional cost" for exports that need extra formatting [8].
Taking cards. Processing can cost more than the subscription. Stripe's published rate for a business using Stripe directly is 2.9 percent plus 30 cents for a domestic card paid online, 0.8 percent capped at $5 for an ACH bank debit, and $15 for each dispute [7]. Jobber lists 2.9 percent plus 30 cents for cards and 1 percent for bank payments [1]. Housecall Pro says card fees "start at 2.59%" and bank payments carry a 1 percent fee [3]. On an $8,000 system replacement, 2.9 percent plus 30 cents is $232.30, 1 percent is $80, and Stripe's own capped ACH rate is $5. CONSTRUKTR runs card payments through Stripe; ask us for the rate in writing, as you would anyone. Whoever you choose, get the full rate card in writing: cards typed in by hand, bank payments, instant payouts and disputes.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Who counts as a user, and what does the next person cost?
- Is the monthly price month to month, or a monthly payment on a year's commitment?
- If I pay for a year and cancel, do I get anything back?
- Which features I saw in the demo or trial are add-ons?
- What does setup or data import cost, and who does the work?
- What are the card and bank payment rates, and are there payout or dispute fees?
- Can I export my customers and jobs on my plan if I leave? Jobber, for one, says client export "is available on select plans" [10].
